Before I was in advertising, I sweet-talked my way into a sommelier job.
I didn’t even own a corkscrew.
But I made good by teaching myself all things wine on my own time. It helps to have a sponge brain, a photographic memory, and a compulsion to look things up.
I’m a concept-driven copywriter. I like making work that’s loud, weird, and smart—but not always in that order.
I take all my brain junk, add a healthy dose of humanity and distill it down to sharp, crisp copy. I’ll write and rewrite until I find that magic string of words that bends people’s ears.
Currently, I’m at Ogilvy New York working with AD Liz Cala.
After hours, I teach concepting classes at Miami Ad School NYC. It’s a great way to put my brain to use.
